Please help settle an argument
If you use a measuring cup to measure water, do you need to wash the measuring cup or is it still clean?

I contend that you can just dry it and put it away. Ex says it must be washed.

9. and as long as none sticks to the bottom, measuring rice is "clean" too.
and things like chopped onions and other "dryish" vegs just get a quick rinse as well, including knives.

As long as the hands touching them are clean so are they! Kali has spoken.

Wash no more.

I'm not talking let them sit there until they rot.

(also I rarely measure onions anyway - you either use them in halves or wholes, right?)

I did, after all, clean it with the same tap water I'd be measuring into it.

1. ex is always right. Give and and do whatever ex wants you to.
2. say ok, put it on floor for dog to lick, then put back into drawer making sure ex sees this.
