question about online shopping....need help! |
|
I ordered something online, and received (1) package. I get an e-mail telling me " our records indicate that two orders of your XXXX were sent to you by mistake. Another order will be delivered today" and it asks if I would please send it back. Do I have to??? What if I dont get the second order, can they charge my account two times??? I have never had this happen before, and I'm not sure what to do. My first attempts at online shopping are not going real smooth

1. You can just refuse delivery of the order, but what "I" would do |
|
is go to www.usps.com, print out a Priority Mail WITH CONFIRMATION label and ship it that way. Then you KNOW when they receive it and it can't come back on you. If you don't get the second order, they can't charge your acct. They have to have proof that the item was delivered to your house and they can find that info through whatever company they shipped through.
I do ALL of my shopping online (except groceries) and these things happen sometimes. Don't worry, as long as it's a legitimate company, you'll be OK.
