I especially like this one.

and, as I thought, I didn't like the Sierra Nevada Celebration Christmas Ale as well and it was interesting to see the review.

1. Many thanks. I made it an ecard for my son-in-law.
He loves different beers.
Especially some of the Sam Adams specialty brews.

3. I love the idea of all those Christmas beers!
right before X-mas I go to the local brew place and load up on a few. It's great learning about new beers.

5. I gave a bottle of "Lump of Coal" to my stepson last year...
He couldn't finish it...He's not much of a stout man; and this is exceptionally stout!

6. The Delirium Noel I had last year was awesome
I most favor those big Belgian ales with all their complex flavors and alcoholic warmth. I've
enjoyed the Stille Nacht at some time or other also.

Not very high on the spiced beers here, though some of them are OK. My idea of a great Christmas
beer is one that is just extraordinary in some direction or other. Sierra Nevada does that with
the Celebration Ale, in the direction of hops. It has the malt balance to carry it off, while
the Winterhook is a bit too thin, giving its bitterness too hard an edge.
