2. For me it's
the cars from the late 30's. Willys, Hupmobiles, Studes, Grahams, DeSotos etc.

Damn you! </Jon_Stewart>

I'll be flipping through this site for days, scowling. Not so much the Mopars, but I did see there also are GM and Ford pages.

My cousin used to pick up side money talking people like this out of their old cars, back in the seventies. He drove the ones he restored, though, and sold the ones he didn't drive. Now, he has several kids and doubtless drives a mini-van. He's the one who infected me with the classic car bug, though. I remember seeing cars from the forties and fifties that looked like this in the early-to-mid seventies, in the Ohio valley.

we've all seen those things before.Always when you least expect it. I worked with a guy who wanted bridge financing on his salvage yard in the 70's and he had a 65 Ferrari Lusso Berlinetta that chickens roosted in in back of his shop. He owed me $6,800 in bank fees and offered me the car, in 78 I think. I turned him down(!) and took the cash.

My favorite: in an Ensenada, Baja California junkyard, a complete Shelby GT500 KR. Sat for 5 years and a friend of a friend finally convinced the guy to sell it for 5,000 bucks.

5. That makes me cry.
I am so glad my first car, 1967 Dodge Coronet is still on the road and now with a 440 and paint (I gave it to my gearhead friend from high school, he totally rebuilt it). I feel so bad for those poor lost souls!

9. Cool site
Really cool site CanuckAmok, If you find any other sites with muscle cars please send me the links, I may not see them If you post them.

My Uncle once had a white Superbird, I bet now he wishes he kept It.
I wish I never sold my 70 mustang Mach 1 (I needed the money) but I still have the first muscle car I bought, a 69 mustang Fastback.

Here Is a short video clip of Jerry (a friend of mine) driving my 69 Mustang , I recorded this about 12 years ago on a VHS camera.

10. Unreal, Not Just One But, Two...
Superbirds wallowing in decay. In the same yard! I lusted after a Superbird for years and to see this picture almost makes me want to cry. Almost.
