BOOMER SOONER!

Under the leadership of Paul Thompson, who was playing wide receiver in August when the starting QB was kicked off the team, the Oklahoma Sooners are conference champs once again. He moved back to QB to help the team, even though folks said he had a shot of being drafted by the NFL as a WR.


The team didn't quit when they got robbed at Oregon. Nor did they quit when the heart of their offense, Heisman Trophy Candidate Adrian Peterson, went down with a broken collarbone.


And with their victory tonight over the Nebraska Cornhuskers, the Sooners are now Big 12 Champs, headed to the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl to play Boise State.
