Cars
I realize car worship is frowned on here, but I can't help it.

In the last 10 years, I've been lucky enough to start my vehicle collection. We have a '96 Lumina that gets used for hubby's everyday use. For me, a '96 Camaro Z28, with lots of go-fast modifications. Very loud, fast, and Summer only. T-tops come off at every opportunity.

I had a '86 Pontiac Sunbird for a winter beater, but it died. It got replaced with a 2004 WRX STI. This thing does everything well! 300 HP. AWD, two sets of wheels/tires. The summer set grips like mad, take the 35 MPH exits at 60, nary a squeak. The winter set puts the all-wheel-drive to it's best use. Claws through up to 12" of snow no problem.

Any other good car stories out there?

2. An El Camino I believe
Very nice. I would love to have a 68 or 69 Z28 in the barn. Maybe someday.

3. Yup
'65. Crate 350, stock except for a Holley 650 on an Edelbrock Performer and Hedman headers through Flowmasters. And, believe it or not, the original Powerglide.

It used to have an .030-over 327 from Summit Racing that was kinda quick, but a cam lobe rubbed off at about 40,000, and a guy I trusted sold me a roller cam with too much duration. Thus did he have to advance the timing about 15 degrees just so it would idle, so it ran rich and some of the rings went.

Live and learn.

5.  Honda cars and Ford trucks
I have a '03 Civic. Its my fifth or sixth one in a row, they're peppy fun and relatively cheap. They hardly ever break and if it does the repair parts usually aren't too expensive. They are the best car in the world for cheapskates like me.

I use Ford vans and pickups for my work and have beeen for twenty years, they're the best.

I think I'm saving up for one of these:

Skoda Octavia vRS, 200bhp 2.0 litre turbo GDI:
0-60 in 7.3 secs and 149mph top speed
(theoretically - I would never drive that fast).

7. I'm a fan of old Integras
I own a Gen II, '93 Integra LS with only 75K miles.

At one time, I owned an '88, Gen I Integra. White w/blue, 5 speed, 4 door hatch.

Only about 140HP in my '93, but with an 8K redline and a 5 speed, it's lots of fun to drive. My 93 is a 2 dr hatch with a sunroof. It's also white with blue. I took all the badges off and got a set of alloy wheels and some Bridgestone Potenzas.

I like everything about these cars. They're dependable, and handle extremely well. The seats are fantastic. I even like the way the guages are layed out.

Old Integras fit me like a glove. I don't know what I'll get when I were this one out. But even though it's 13 years old, it shows no signs of slowing down.
