Some POKER advice as I leave DU
I won't go into the reasons why I'm leaving DU, but I will miss you all. Because of my love for you, though, I will leave you with my best tips for playing the fine game of poker:

1) You must know when to hold your cards. For instance, if you have an ace, king, queen, jack, and ten all in the same suit, you should hold on to this hand.

2) You must know when to fold. For instance, if you have jumble of low-value cards of different suits, and you peek at the cards of the guy across from you and he has the hand mentioned in 1) above, then you should fold.

3) You must know when to walk away, and when to run. As an example, if you are in a leg brace due to a badly sprained ankle then you should walk away as best you can (with crutches, if necessary). If you have been accused of cheating by someone packing a Desert Eagle, you should run--preferably in a zig-zag pattern.

4) Never count your money when you're sitting at the table. You could get mugged after the game or make yourself a target in the game.

5) There will be time enough for counting your money when the game is finished. See 4).

Good-bye, everyone. I hope these tips will win you all lots of money. Don't tell anyone I gave these to you.

Great website, by the way.

I have a friend who looks just like Kenny Rogers, and the funny thing is he can't stand the guy.

10. My Pappy always said,
"A coward dies a thousand deaths, a hero dies but one." A thousand to one is pretty good odds.

He also said, "Son, the best time to get lucky is when the other man's dealin'." Good luck in your future endeavors.

13. Heh, If someone with a DE accuses you of cheating, you have bigger problems than being able to run.
Also, I'm sorry you have to go .

Too many good people, including you, convinced me to stay. I still hope Kenneth Rogers' poker advice comes in handy, though. :hi:
