Evidence suggests liquid water on Mars: NASA

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Images taken by NASA's Mars Global Surveyor spacecraft suggest the presence of liquid water on the Martian surface, a tantalizing find for scientists wondering if the Red Planet ever has harbored life.

The orbiting U.S. spacecraft allowed scientists to detect changes in the walls of two Martian craters that may have been caused by the recent flow of water, a team of researchers said in a paper appearing on Wednesday in the journal Science.

They are one step closer to discovering life could have once existed on Mars. That would really fuck up a lot of people..lol. And this science stuff is really friggin' slow at proving things, why do people trust it so much?

7. Why would that be a 'dig' at religious people? I happen to

believe in God. My God wouldn't be limited to this pathetic planet and the creatures on it. To think that is almost 'heretical' in my opinion. My God would do things in a purely logical way. Evolution is how I see him creating life and the system I see him designing for life. At least here. Now who knows what else is out there or what he's tried in other places? Maybe carbon based isn't the only life form out there.

He'd try to do better somewhere else I suspect.

There's a song named 'God Take I' on Ian Hunter's All American Alien Boy album. I've always thought that what that song said is probably closer to the truth that what we're told.

It would totally mess up Creationists' claims if a second world is found to have had life on it. It would totally disprove their little myth once and for all.
