7. Hey, it's 35 here in Houston.... |
|
And the projected high is only 51. Tomorrow will be chilly, too. But highs for the rest of the week will be around 70.
Houston summers suck. But there are compensations.

so it is house to car, car to work, no extra time out doors.
Unfortunately, I do have to work outdoors tomorrow .... not looking forward to it.
Last Friday it was 75 degrees.
Right now it is 26 degrees, and with wind chill feels like 14, according to weather.com.

16. nothing like walking down those NYC streets on a cold windy day |
|
I remember walking around the corner and suddenly have tears streaming down my face from the cold. Manhattan is a series of wind tunnels, one on each block.

20. My toes are still cold from waiting for the train. |

I take NJ transit and all the platforms are above ground. Of course, of all days, the train was a half-hour late. It wasn't so much the temperature, it was the wind!

BRRRRR..... :( Walking from my car to my office was awful this morning. I nearly froze my butt off. :( It's still there, though.
It's not supposed to get very warm today (37, I think).

But it feels a lot warmer than that outside. The sun is shining brightly and I'm able to go outside without my parka.
