I have absolutely NOTHING to do tonight except to listen to Beatles songs with my older brother. :boring: All of my friends are out of town. I guess I'll just be on DU tonight...

What about you guys? On a scale of one to ten, rate 2003, ten being the absolute best. I'd say mine was a 9. I went on an airplane for the first time, in January to FL, where I had a real good time and to Mexico in June, where I had a totally awesome time. My grandma had a heart attack, but she's alright now. She's actually in pretty good shape, she walks every day and is not overweight, so I was surprised when she had the attack. Otherwise, though, my year was good.

As far as rating my year...

Well.. my grandfather had cancer, got burned severely by the radiation and subsequently died a few months ago.

My mom got screwed over by her lawyer, so she only got a small pittance for her disability, the doctors doubt her eyesight will ever improve. (she's nearly blind now)

On the other hand I quit smoking and now I am moving out to Seattle on blind faith. :shrug:

Well, hope 2004 is all well, I sympathize with your mother going nearly blind. When I was 10 I lost all sight in my right eye. I'm still fine in my left eye, thankfully.
