I figure that pretty much takes care of things.

Case in point: A couple months ago I pull out my travel mug for a trip up north. I poured in fresh Hot coffee got in the car and started out.

Got on the highway - took a sip - "Hmm, what is that small hard thing in my mouth?" I wondered. Maybe it was a bit of granola from breakfast. But just before biting down on that granola assumption I decided to take a look.

Nope not granola, some sort of small beetle that had the misfortune to be in the cup when I poured the coffee in.

Oh well, toss the bug and kept on drinking the rest of the coffee. The boiling water must've took care of anything harmful. :)
