I just wish I can figure out how to do the css stuff. HTML I am a bit familiar with as far as doing the text. But the css and doing the tables and stuff is difficult. I don't understand it. Maybe you don't have to do css to do the layout?

I tried putting a background on my main page but it didn't work out.

7. The best way is to find a premade layout.

It does all of the tables for you in all kinds of themes. On most sites you can preview them to make sure you like them. Then, all you do is copy an already written code into your About Me section, and that's it.

As already mentioned, having a lot of interests and info about you is what is important for now. It took me weeks before I came up with a layout that I liked, and even then I change it every month or two.

I managed to strip all the stuff away and start with a blank slate.

The more I look at my site I realize it's not really a myspace page anymore.. but thats OK, I'm not one to be pushed into a preset mold.

I do wish MySpace had a way to program against it, like an API or something.. to access friends list, whether you are online, comments, etc. I hear you can do this with facebook.
