Well, here are mine--for today's games only.

Florida over Iowa

West Virginia over Maryland

Georgia vs Purdue is too close to call

1. Arkansas will beat Missouri by at least TEN.
Oh, they already did that!!!!

How bout this prediction? The SEC will win at least five bowl games.

3. Mine
These are pretty good games today - all of them feature a strong running attack vs. a strong passing attack. I can't wait to see them:

Maryland over West Va. - Maryland's air attack is better than W Va's, and W Va. is more banged up.

Purdue over Georgia - I agree- it's too close to call. I think Purdue will win a squeaker.

USC vs Michigan is too close to call - I think Michigan might pull an upset, especially if they're ground game gets going.

Miami over Florida

4. GEORGIA WINS BIG
because they are from a much better conference.

Michigan over USC wouldn't be an upset but it ain't gonna happen.

5. I doubt it
Both defenses are top 10 - Georgia gave up 13.5 points per game, Purdue gave up 16 per game. I figure Purdue will get lucky and come away with a 17-14 or 16-13 win.

Won't go into conferences, since I'm stuck watching the Mountain West conference (Go Runnin' Rebels!)

7. Not many football fans on DU - here's my picks, though
You have about a dozen posters who are knowledgable, and that's about it. More techno music and metrosexual types here on the Lounge, I am afraid (cranky old guy here. So sue me). Picking Maryland over WVA, Georgia over Purdue, Michigan in an upset(unless their special teams blow it), and Miami over Florida STATE. Leaving off that last word will tick off a lot of Gator fans.
