2. And Carville making fun of Dean again. |
|
He is a spokesman on CNN, and he should at least avoid it on there.
If he wants to despise Dean, ok, but he should not do it there.
Oh, I forgot. I am not supposed to be sensitive. Maybe if Carvile spent less time working in Venezuela he would be more aware that Dean is not against the country. He is against Bush.
I am beginning to resent this.

Everytime we speak up someone says stuff like that. Carville should NOT be saying bad things about ANY Democratic candidate on TV. He just should not.
It is not good for the party.

He is paid to have an opinion. Just like everyone else that does his type of job. Now if he were representing the DNC, that would be another story.

13. Was he representing the DNC when he solicited a donation |
|
for them from me? Both an email and a mailed piece soliciting DNC contributions were signed by him. And I gave because it was him and I get such a kick out of him.
He can criticize Dean or any of the candidates, it's what pundits do. But he went too far in what he said, and mocking any of the Dem candidates OR their supporters says a lot about HIS tin ear. So, yes, I do think it's disloyal.
From now on, I'll give directly to the candidates I support.
Very disappointed in Carville.

19. But, it's great when Frank Luntz praises Dean as winner of every debate? |
|
Gee....and all the salivating that Matthews did over Dean's "manliness" was peachy?
Puhleeze.

16. i cant remember alot of specifics... |
|
but anyway... carville attacked bush's 'mission accomplished' stunt comparing him to dictators that like to dress up in military uniforms even though they were never in the service, he brought that back around to the MIA bit during vietnam.
attacked the "recovery" and exposed it for what it really was... just the xmas shopping season.
attacked the war on iraq- nothing new here
Novak had no response to anything really.

Carville isn't a spokesman for CNN. He is paid to give his opinion on CNN. If he dislikes Dean, he should speak up and say it. That is what his paycheck is for.
Note: I am a Dean supporter.

That frankly caught me by surprise.
Could it have been satirical, or do you think he really means it?

It is always good to hear Nofacts is getting smacked. Of course it means nothing. It is all scripted and generally ignored by more serious journalists.

I really enjoyed the Ragin' Cajun's new book. Carville discusses a wide range of issues and provides some good ideas on how to deal with the issues (most have to deal with domestic policy).
Not only does Carville present some good ideas, he's very charming, funny, and includes recipes!
Novak is an old fart.
