10. Thanks!
It gets better, Mrs. Grumpy. When I watch Planet of the Apes, I can sit there with my best clinched face yelling........................ "GET YOUR PAWS OFF ME YOU DAMNED, DIRTY APE!!!"

Heston is such a freakin' drama queen!

8. Its creepier watching that movie now
As apposed to when I was younger. Especially when you realize that the world wasn't really overpopulated, but that the corporations took all the land and herded people into the cities.

After nearly four years of Bush it's not so hard to see what we could become. :scared:

9. It seems like a happy neocon idea
All the rich guys set up with whatever they want- food, money, young babes while the masses are forced to work like slaves for their Soylent Green. Yeah- supply side economics!

12. I would like to see this movie remade
I loved it as a kid, but I would like to see a modern version now. Who could play Heston and Edward G.'s parts??

13. Mad Cow Disease is in PEEEE-PUUULLLLL!!
Great idea--a remake.

Yes, Soylent Green was a neocon, globalist freemarketeer, free trader scheme all the way (as someone else in this thread suggested).

And isn't the mad cow disease brought on by feeding animals to each other a little bit of the same soylent green idea?

And in general, isn't the neocon, globalist freemarketeer, free trader way of thinking taking us to a Soylent Green Future?

I think I smell a great Photoshop idea in the works here: a photo of something from Soylent Green (maybe the scence of Heston running around screaming "Soylent Green is PEEE-PUUUULLLL!) and photoshop in something to tie it into the Bush/GOP/freemarketeer/globalist Way of Thinking? Tie it into Mad Cow disease?

Any Master Photoshoppers want to have a go at it?
