My friend's brother-in-law paid me a great compliment tonight

I joined a friend's family at her mom's house today for an evening of eating and playing games. None of these people are politically active but most keep track of events.

We were playing Taboo, a word game where you have to give your team hints so they guess the word you're looking for (there's a list of words you can't use for hints.)

It was my friend's brother-in-law's turn to get his team to guess and the first clue he gave is " is real active in politics, she is a true...."

The guesses were "Democrat", "American" (both so true). He went on, no "She's like the guys who fought the Revolutionary War, the other side were Tories"

No one got it, but the word was "patriot". I felt honored.
