1. How is it observed?
What do you do on Boxing Day? I hadn't even known til recently that this is what today is called.

I figured it was for boxing up all the useless gifts you don't want so you can go exchange them for stuff you like!

I have never bothered to return or exchange a gift. Almost seems kinda rude to me, unless it's an article of clothing that doesn't fit you and you can fix the problem that way.

2. Hahaha, great
That made me laugh, thanks! I've returned plenty of things, from shirts that were hideous, to CD's I already had but needed the extra $11.99 + tax, to books I know I would never read, to movies I would never watch. And generally I don't box it; just bag it all up ;)

4. My theory is that Boxing Day is like your "Black Friday"
and the theory is based upon the idea of the "best shopping day in the year". Whereas you buy stuff before xmas, we prefer to buy them after xmas.

What we do is buy gift cards, then the people with said gift cards can go nuts on boxing day. More bang for your buck, so to speak.

6. Boxing Day? And I missed it.
I was supposed to hit somebody, right? Get in the ring, motherfu$%ers!!!
Get in the fu$%ing ring!!!

I'm gonna start training right now for next year's boxing day - one handed push-ups, chasing a chicken, and drinking raw eggs ought to do it, along with a little bit of jogging.

Lie, lie, lie. Lie, lie, lie lie, lie, lie, lie, lie lie lie....
