"What can 'Brown' do for you?" |
|
I'll tell you what "Brown" can do for me:
5. Spread bullshit far and wide. 4. Promise things they have no intention of delivering. 3. Lie through their teeth. 2. Put me on hold for interminable lengths of time. and 1. NOT DELIVER.
A week ago, my son's bass and amp arrived in Denver from San Francisco where it was shipped from. It arrived in Denver at 12:01 a.m. on 12/21.
60 miles away.
It just hit Colorado Springs at 6:40 a.m. today. He still doesn't have his Christmas gift.
#2 son's Bach...which was overnighted and arrived in Louisville, KY at 11:37 p.m. on 12/21...is, according to UPS's information STILL IN LOUISVILLE.
Fuckers.

4. I haven't used them much... |
|
this time, they blew it in a BIG way. We spent 130.00 to have that trombone delivered on Thursday and I understand that the weather was an issue...but it should have been here Saturday. For it to still be sitting in Louisville is...absurd.
For the bass to be 60 miles away and take a week to get here is unbelievable. We offered to drive up to Denver on Friday to pick it up and they said that we couldn't. We kept getting people telling us that they'd be delivered...they were in the truck...they were on their way to us...today. Today. Today.
Bullshit. My boys both had to open a card with a picture of their gift on it. Merry fucking Christmas, kids.

Although after reading your experience, I'm not so sure I should be holding my breath.
I had a nightmare experience with a U-Haul truck that didn't arrive, leaving me, seven months pregnant, to sleep on my dining room floor.
I was NOT happy.
I'm mad for you, just reading that.

I can understand that the weather created a problem.
A week ago. Highways were open on Thursday and DIA opened on Friday -- and the airport in Colorado Springs opened on Thursday. The POST OFFICE was delivering on Sunday. Even Christmas. But not UPS, oh nooooooo...
I'm hoping that at least one of them gets here today. We're supposed to get more weather tomorrow.

No excuse for the KY item though.

I'm just too impatient. But time's slipping away, you know?
Did I tell you about the gingerbread men I put on a small tree in the kitchen? I put a hole in each of their little heads and after a few days, threaded ribbon and hung them on the tree. The next morning, I came down to find all these headless bodies lying on the floor. It looked like a massacre. The cats were circling them, trying to figure out what happened. The heads were still hanging on the tree...
I should have put little nametags on them. Cheney, B***, Rumsfeld...
;)

15. I've had such problems with UPS that I actually have a sign that says |
|
"no deliveries accepted from UPS - don't even leave the note" on my mailbox, and I've written to UPS telling them I never want anything delivered to me from them ever again. My story makes yours seem like little more than a mosquito bite, not that I'm trivializing yours.
