I think 2007 is gonna rock the house!
I don't know why. Guess I just woke up optimistic this morning.

Maybe it's because I got some things clear in my work life in 2006. My kind-of-cool job turned into Truly Awful Job, so I got another one. The new one is OK, but I've come to the realization that I really need to just get out of this field altogether and into doing something that I really believe in. So it's nice to have that out in the open, even if I don't know what I'm going to do with it. So that's a big weight off of my mind. Anyway, I just got up this morning feeling great and hopeful about the new year. I'm going to start putting that energy out there for a new job, but more than that, I'm gonna put the energy out there to just LIVE my life and enjoy it!

What are your thoughts for 07? Any big plans?

2. I also agree!
2006 pretty much sucked for us; so I'm thinking 07 will be better by default anyway; but we got some really good things going here the last few weeks: another famil car finally; bills caught up; and husband got a great job last week-one he's been gunning for for six years!
So, it looks good!

Believe it or not; my missons this year are to 1)have a great time with son and put him in preschool/daycare at my old favorite Quaker school
2) Get my teeth fixed
3) Get my breast augmentation done (it's for work--seriously. Will bring in a LOT of money).

Hope yours is great--sounds like it will be!!!

10. Hee, can you write off your brest aug 'cause it's for work?
I would find that awfully amusing if so. :D

19. But if it needs updated
I don't know-larger, maybe they need to be newer or they need to be moved about a bit-could you write that off too?

21. I believe so...
but I'm not sure. It may be considered more of a medical expense then instead of work-related.
Good question; I'll go hunt stripperweb later and find out.

25. I really wonder if it could be argued.
If you could show a correllation between an increase in cup size and salary I'd think that every time you increased it could be partially written off. Same w/ any "repairs" (let's face it-they will eventually begin their trip to a southern region. It happens to the best of us unless you are an "A" cup.). Men don't want to give tips for sagginess so I'd think that could be written off too.

I'd wonder if some body styling could be written off for that matter. As most women age some areas pack on fat easier than others-that is a fact of life. In an image-conscious job I'd wonder if more plastic surgery couldn't be written off.

Now I wish I were in shape. I'd be a dancer if I could do some write-offs.

How are you doing?

As far as big plans, I dunno - other than gearing up for '08 and waiting to watch our Democratic Congress hold El Diablo's feet to the fire. I'm getting more excited!

20. Yes it did....thank you.
I've gotten in contact with several past professors (my undergrad profs from 1993 want me to come back and talk to their honors physics students), prepping for the GMAT, and lining up references.

17. oh shit you had to remind me
I'm getting snipped this coming year

I know, logically it should be nothing. We don't want any more kids, Tubal Ligation is a major operation and condoms suck ass when you're married.

But something about cutting me open under my weapon of mass production and snipping the ramen noondles therein just gives me the heebeejeebies.

22. Friend of mine
who is staying with us atm got his done a few months ago--lasered. Outpatient; took all of 20 min. He said yes; pain the next day; but not debilitating and not a bunch of knives and such.

Sounds much better than the old way.

Good luck!

26. I agree!
2006 sucked big time for me, 2007 is going to be better. I'm plannning on taking some real vacations. One to New York City and I'll get to do something that I've always wanted to do - take a cross-country road trip (which will take me from LA to Detroit).

Let's hope some of that expansive magnanimity (?) tubs off on me. I could use it.
