2. The CIA's Directorate of Science and Technology
Edited on Mon Jan-01-07 03:36 PM by Capn Amerika
Is centered in Tysons. Many of the large office buildings house it's many offices. With a couple of the buildings entirely dedicated to that directorate.

The large red and white tower is a White House communications relay station otherwise known as "Site E".

You can also go to the park in nearby Vienna, Virginia. that Robert Hannsen used as a dead drop. It's underneath the bridge.

3. you better hoof it east if you want to go to the Capitol
Tysons is like a suburban satellite ciy of the DC area, right on the Beltway, full of the usual chain restaurants and lodgings. Lot of office buildings and malls. Much like business parks all around the country, you've seen one ....

4. By all means, go to DC.
The Smithsonian, for starters. Maybe get a tour of the Capitol building (stay away from the WH for a while, of course). The memorials.. Lincoln, Jefferson, Vietnam. Others. Several great neighborhoods to explore. Georgetown is probably still a lot of fun.

Tyson's is just like any other corporate suburb. Blah.

5. Awesome shopping.
Pricey, but I am a world class window shopper. I can spend hours looking and never buy a thing.

And, if you can, you should go to the Holocaust Museum. It is phenomenal.
