9. That's what I was wondering |

I think maybe there were a bunch of "first moves," and we both made them

6. my last one I pretty much had to body slam her |
|
to get anything going. Sigh...it might have had something to do with the fact that she was involved in a long-term relationship and being dishonest about it. I pursued her like crazy, though.

I always make the first move. Always. And it usually works. And when it doesn't, its no big deal. But if you don't go for it, you automatically lose.
I don't always understand why people are so afraid to make moves. Rejection isn't that bad...after awhile, you don't even care.

16. Therein lies the problem |

some of us are terrified of the rejection. For me, I'm most afraid of looking like an asshole.

19. Again, I don't understand that thought pattern. |

Why is finding somebody else attractive, and doing something about it, assholish? I mean, obviously if you ask a girl if she wants to fuck without knowing her, your being assholish (although I SAW a guy score once doing exactly that, lol), but asking someone out for coffee?
See, I loved the game (I have a gf now so I obviously don't do that stuff anymore). I loved seeing how people would react to my advances. About 95 percent of the time, the person is flattered or friendly. As long as your friendly, have a big smile, and don't put pressure on somebody, even rejections are no big deal. I've been rejected lots of times, and it usually friendly...at the very least, its a "dating" rejection can lead to friendship (lol..not vice versa, though).
I figure if your afraid of rejection, than you haven't been rejected ENOUGH.
