Oh goody I have Bell's Palsy |
|
Because I really enjoy not being able to close my left eye and I love dribbling liquids out of my mouth because it doesn't close right and I throughly relish the idea of having no sense of taste on half my tongue and the topper is I get to wear an eyepatch to keep my eye from drying out.

4. Well at least it's not a stroke. |

:)
Aren't some of the symptoms the same as a stroke?

5. Wow, Gargoyle! I'm sorry! |
|
 One of my friends had Bell's Palsy, and it wasn't fun. It went away eventually, though, so I'm hoping that happens for you too.

but the kicker is I have a ruptured eardrum from an infection and because I'm on antibiotics I can't get the steroids that would reduce the swelling. Otherwise I'd be looking at a week to recover tops. MY niece is getting married this weekend and I can't imagine what I'll look like for the pictures. This is my second time having it, last time it was 17 years ago.

7. That's a drag -- but it does go away. |
|
I've known a couple of people who got it, and in both cases they got over it in a few weeks. Hang in there; hope it clears up before long.
