Houston is doing this to me. Tuscan/Tuscany this, that, the other

the solution to everything in this town is pour concrete on it and give it a genteel name.

is there a reason why they CANNOT build a street with straight lanes?

or numbered streets.

At work, I recently had to write something about an apartment complex in Houston with that name. As I recall, it was in the West Champion area, wherever that is.

9. I don't know if there are apartment complexes around here with names
like that, but Tacoma's nickname is "The City Of Destiny"; usually used by the town fathers and a few optimistic tourists.

7. We have one, Turnberry
It's a condo complex. That name is okay but all the streets are named for holes on the Turnberry golf course in Scotland. Examples: Roon the Ben, Bide a Wee, and Goat Fell. My parents are condo shopping and liked this one but my mother put her foot down and refused to live on any of those streets.
