NOW IS THE TIME: the "100 thousand members" thread!

As we are currently at 99,970 members at 8:57 EST,
it seems likely we'll break the hundred thousand mark
tonight or tomorrow. There may well never be a better
time for us to compile any and all puns, jokes, and random
witticisms based upon the word "member".

I have no doubt that the combined talents of the Lounge
can come up with hundreds of witty "one hundred thousand members"
comments.
(Heck, who knows- we might even see one or two that don't
refer to Paris Hilton!)

This is major DU milestone, folks, so let's not let it be
said that the LOUNGE didn't do it up right!
Post anything and everything!
Let's take the phrase "one hundred thousand members" and
run it ragged, Lounge-style!

Skinner was strolling around the midway of a traveling circus when a barker beckoned him over.

"Step inside, young man," called the barker. "I'll show you sights you've never seen, things you've never dreamed, and oddities unknown since the time of Solomon."

"What've you got?" Skinner asked indulgently.

"For starters," said the barker, "I've got a woman with three breasts. Three breasts! Can you believe it?"

Skinner looked bored.

"That's not all," the barker continued. "I've got a guy in here with two johnsons. Two of them! Can you top that?"

"Sorry, not interested," said Skinner.

"What's wrong with you?" cried the Barker. "I'm talking about three boobs and two members. All for one dollar. Step right up!"

"Listen," said Skinner. "My Lounge is totally full of boobs, and I've got over 100,000 members."

The barker looked thoughtful. "Can I see?"

"That'll be a dollar," said Skinner. "Step right up!"

President Bush is in a meeting with Secretary of State Rice concerning the ever-increasing popularity of the radical and subversive Democratic Underground web community and its equally subsersive poobah Skinner.

"This dangerous website is constantly growing," notes Dr. Rice. "Skinner can now boast over 100,000 members."

Bush looks confused. After a moment, Rice realizes that it's confusion about this specific issue, rather than the President's usual confused-in-general look.

"Well," the Secretary suggests at last. "We could make sure that Skinner is dis-membered, so to speak." She tosses the Prez a conspiritorial grin.

"Dismembered," echoes the President, nodding. He spends a moment in what for him passes for intense concentration. "Okay," he says cheerfully. "Consider him forgotten. Next issue."
