Florida Gov. Crist's Web Site Typo: "The Christ Team"

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Gov. Charlie Crist has friends in high places. Very high.

During his campaign, one minister told a crowd of his peers that God came to him in a dream and said Crist would be the next governor.

Now that he's taken office, the connection became even clearer.

A page on the governor's Web site listed information on Lt. Gov. Jeff Kottkamp, Crist's staff and his agency appointees under a headline "The Christ Team."

"It's just a typo," said Crist spokeswoman Erin Isaac.

And it's a common typo -- at least three Florida newspapers have referred to Crist as Christ in the past two weeks alone -- but one that was a little embarrassing for the governor's office.

Once it was pointed out, the Web page was corrected in less than a minute.

they made the same mistake. It was not caught until after printing.

My daughter said he saw "Christ" on the letterhead and threw a "hissy-fit".

Can't say that I blame him.
