More stories from the Assistant Principal from Hell.
1. One of the kids, a really nice boy, gave a speech for student government and did a shout out to Taylor, another boy.

APA -(Assistant Principal Asswipe) chewed him out and asked him what if people now think he's gay? :eyes: No, sir, you're not a homophobic asshole.

2. One of TeenMidlo's best friends lost her mom in a car wreck a year ago. Best Friend gets two days in school suspension because her homework and a friend's homework were 'too similar' so they must have copied. There is no way that they used the same school issued textbook, is there? :eyes:

Anyway, APA chases the kid down in the hall and in a sneering way states "I've been trying to call your mother all day, she doesn't answer the phone".

Kid replies: "It would be hard for her to do that, since she was killed a year ago".

And, this APA has made it a detention offense if you don't do your homework, but I guess that doesn't apply to him.

I hate this motherfucker.

2. They hate him. And, they're scared to death of him.
I have quite a few friends who teach there and they said he's just an absolute bastard.

He gave a kid 2 days detention because he had Aleve in his car. Didn't bring it into the building, had it in his car. His Father's Car.

I just despise him. Especially after what he did to my daughter's friend. This little friend is the sweetest child on the planet and he couldn't even fucking bother to find out if she had a mom.

4. Can't y'all petition the School Board or something?
Admittedly, I have no idea how this stuff works, but it sounds like there's more than enough evidence that this man has no business being in this position of authority...

 for you and TeenMidlo, and  for her dear friend...

3. My suggestion:
Document Document Document.

Write down everything. Try to do so in an objective manner, very matter-of-fact with no emotion. If you can get others to do the same thing, parents and teachers, then you can put it together as a report and as a group (take only those who can remain matter-of-fact and not get too emotional) and request a meeting with the Superintendent. If you are blown off, get yourself an educational advocate and let the advocate request a second meeting. Something needs to be done.

I'm a teacher. I would love it if parents would do this.

PM me if you'd like more advice and for questions if you decide to take this route.

5. That's a great idea.
This guy has no business in education, or in any kind of management position for that matter.

6. I'm a former teacher, so I totally agree with you.
I was just up at the office trying to get my daughter a parking pass, but he only does that from 7 to 7:15 in the morning.

He looked at me and I felt like saying, Bring. It. On. you motherfucking bastard.

Okay, maybe a little harsh.

Holy hell. We never had to have anything like that. Did you have to pay for it? How fucking lame.

23. I can't tell you how much I wanted him to say something to me.
He's about 6'5, right about 300 pounds, and he's bullying girls who are barely 5' tall.

He's an unbelievable piece of shit.

And, the principal isn't much better. We wanted to have a meeting with her and she called here all defiant and pissed off. I filed a formal complaint with the county. We'll see what happens.

12. Sounds like an idiot milking whatever tiny amount of authority he's achieved
in life. People like that are so pathetic. I work with quite a few. The difference with him is that he takes out that authority on kids who can't stand up to him. Even more pathetic. I agree with whoever said to document everything.

He's just a complete prick. High on his power...yeah, power over teenagers.

When I saw him today, I was kind of hoping he would start with me because boy was I ready.

13. WTF?
I'd say, "hey vice principal asswipe, please do not sexualize other CHILDREN for no apparent reason when speaking to my CHILD." The idea that he would draw any sort of sexual inference from a "shout out" is downright creepy.

15. You know that is a really homophobic remark.
Geez and to think kids are at his mercy everyday? What if that kid IS gay...what message did he just receive? The more I think about this, the sicker it makes me.

16. Problem is that the parents of this boy are uber right wingers
and were more concerned about the potential that someone thought their kid was gay. When I was told the story, I jumped right on the homophobic thing and kept saying "what if it was a gay child"

19. There were some APs and teachers from hell in my schools...
If my parents were good at any one thing, it was recognizing the shitty teachers and mobilizing other kids' parents to try to get rid of them.

Each time, the AP would make some comment regarding the strength of the unions and how he couldn't just fire Mr. or Mrs. Satan based on these grounds.

In 6th grade, our teacher, Mrs. Davis, was a total witch.

-As punishment, she would stop class, take the offending children out into the hall and swear at them repeatedly.

-She once called a kid an "idiot" to his face, and another teacher had to correct her, saying "You mean, he ACTS like an idiot..."

-She would frequently digress from whatever it was she was supposed to be teaching to tell rambling, incoherent, irrelevant stories (I remember once in Math class she told one such story about drunk drivers). Therefore, nobody actually learned anything.

-When she saw me finishing the last problem of my homework during homeroom (the time before classes actually start), she physically dragged me into the teacher's lounge and made me call my dad and tell him about it.

-As an April Fool's Day joke, during study hall, the entire class dropped their books, yelled "April Fool's!" and ran outside for 5 minutes, voluntarily coming right back to class. This beastly teacher, who had no sense of humor, made the whole class write how wrong they were 500 times or so. Even the parents got pissed at this one.

-Since I had just come from a science and math-based private school, and was learning absolutely nothing, my parents kept having discussions with the principal about how this was a repeat of 4th and 5th grade for me, and I should be moved up, as this teacher and even the kids were tearing me to pieces for being "too smart".

Well, the principal essentially fooforawed and harrumphed, saying it would be "disruptive" to the class and the school, and Mrs. Davis herself said "Just because your son has been to the Louvre doesn't mean he's smart". (I've never been to the Louvre, even to this day, nor have I even set foot in France)

-I was supposed to attend the Interlochen music school program afterwards for piano studies, and they were all set to accept me, however they required I get recommendations from all my previous teachers. Well, every single one of them recommended me, except Mrs. Davis, who maintained that I was a total failure, disruptive, had no discernible talent, etc. So I didn't get in.

Things like this make me desire some very serious reform in teacher's unions. The extent to which a single terrible teacher or administrator can damage a kid's life cannot be overstated, and something desperately needs to be done soon.

20. I completely hear you.
I was in education myself for 10 years. Both high school and college. I NEVER treated a kid the way this prick treats these kids. And, at the risk of sounding like one of those parents who says 'it's never my child', this particular school population is comprised of a particularly nice bunch. I know. Most of them have been at my house at one time or another (and unfortunately, I'm not kidding)

I had an administrator my last year of teaching high school who was so pissed that I was finished with my doctorate he essentially tortured me. At least, that is the only thing I can come up with. I always had glowing reviews, etc., but anytime I made any kind of a suggestion about a policy or something, he jumped down my throat. He ALWAYS took the kids' side over me, not that there were that many times I sent anyone to him, which is why I remember.

It's just plain, flat out bullying and it enrages me. Nothing pisses me off worse than an adult using their supposed 'power' over a child. The worst was at my kids' elementary school where there 'used' to be a teacher's aide who was brutal to the special needs kids.

I would go up to the cafeteria just to watch her interact, I documented everything and I got her transferred.

Something is wrong with a woman who has Trustn1 and faithn1 on her cars and is nasty to a child with Down Syndrome.

24. No kidding.
The 'mom' thing sent me over the edge. (well, I was teetering there anyway because of this guy). ALL the child's paperwork is in dad's name and the accident was a BIG DEAL a year ago because it was on the road that this high school is on.

I couldn't believe how callous he was. And, she's not the only one from a one parent home. He needs to do HIS homework.

:grr:

He's a major prick with a serious attitude problem. He really needs a major beat down from some parents and I think it is coming.

We'll see if my letter does anything.
