High school orchestra kicks the crap out of high school band
Edited on Fri Jan-12-07 06:45 PM by jpgray
There, I said it. Our program's only consistent lapse of taste was the hoary Elgar crap for graduations. Granted I used a tennis shoe as the endstop for my cello to the enduring shame of our conductor, but still. :D To be fair, our band teacher fucked me over when I joined... I wanted to play sax, but he needed a baritone. So he sets up the instruments and asks me to play them, and lo and behold I can play the baritone but not the sax. Turns out he took the fucking reed out of the sax. Thanks teach!

:dunce:

1. I have to agree with you
Band Directors are all about the Marching Band and the Drum Line. My HS Band Director couldn't conduct his way out of a hat, but the Orchestra Director, she made music!
