He's one of a kind. He's my buddy. I love him so much that I dedicated my sig line to him over a year ago. I'm always going back and forth with him online. He's a wily little bastard but he's our wily little bastard.

:loveya: evl!

With that, I recommended this thread because everyone needs to know what a wonderful guy he really is.

on edit: my husband would say the same thing if he were awake. He's always calling evl and disrupting his football watching.

36. I would but the dogs are sleeping next to him
and since it got cold today I don't think they want to go hairless along with him.

Besides, he's a bolter. I have to be really, really careful when he's asleep. There's no telling what he'll do. He's been known to flail his arms and sometimes he kicks. I have to keep my distance. Sometimes he sits up and has whole conversations with me but he's still asleep. I can tell when he's still asleep because he says the most bizarre things. One time he told me "Zaltor would figure it out." I still don't know what the fuck he was talking about.

40. Who is he? she?
Or what is it? One of my ex-boyfriends talked in his sleep too. He'd at least say more profound things like "you should light the fire from the flame that's already burning." I wasn't sure what he meant but I took it to mean that I should follow my passions, so I did and and left him. He was holding me back.

I've talked to your dreams and they don't remember you either.

I do know the Admiral has some weird ones now and again. One time he was wrestling an alligator. I'm not sure who was winning at the time. All I know is the Admiral rocked from side to side, made a loud "arggggggghhhh!" noise and then flung himself off the bed. I'm still not sure who was more freaked out: me, the Admiral or one of the three dogs.

:spray:  I do love my life.

62. He hit the table next to the bed
but more of him hit the floor. What amazed me was his agility. He sprang up and was in a defensive mode with a "what just happened" look on his face. I was watching tv and, after I recovered from shock, I burst out laughing. He was like all pissy for a minute and said "it's okay, I'm not hurt." I just looked at him and started laughing all over again. He started laughing too. I finally was able to ask him "what happened?" That's when he told me about wrestling an alligator.

Oh man, that was funny. My sides are hurting from laughing. He took at least one dog over the edge with him. It was hysterical. I think it was that grunting/argh sound that pushed it over the edge for me. I mean, he was really giving it his all with that last heave and I'm trying to watch a movie. It came out of no where. All of a sudden he's rocking back and forth making sounds. I was sitting there, minding my own business, and all of a sudden I start wondering "hmmm, I wonder who he's dreaming of" and then whammo he goes flying off the bed like a scene from "The Exorcist" and I see a little grey ball of fur going with him. I've got to stop thinking about it. I'm laughing so hard there are tears in my eyes right now.

You should ask him about it.

67. It was hysterical
and, even better, it is just one of many stories that begin with "So, there I was, watching tv and minding my own business, when suddenly, like a bolt out of the blue, the sleeping Admiral suddenly sprang to life. . ."

Oh well, it is getting late. I better go see if the Admiral is doing one of his shows tonight. Maybe, just maybe, I'll find out who this Zoltar is tonight.

It was a drug posession case. One of the attornies asked if any of us thought drugs should be decriminalized. I raised my hand. Dismissed.
Outside the courtroom, an elderly lady said to me, "You're right, young man. Prohibition doesn't work."
She was so sweet about it, I didn't smack her for not raising her hand, too.
