11. Still raining here
I'm in San Marcos and it has been raining since early this morning. Some local roads are closed. One report had us receiving 5 inches. It seems that a tornado may have also touched down. :o

20. our trees are all icy, but not streets yet. It is just at freezing
and has rained for the past 24 hours, sometimes quite heavily. My trash cans were left open Friday morning and I had to dump about 3 inches of water out of them

The upcoming threat for ice is a very serious for much of the region!. We haven't seen an ice threat of this magnitude in many years. I urge everyone to be prepared for this extended period of cold and ice.
