I know you feel really proud of the new flat-screen wide-screen TVs you bought to liven up the joint.

They're very nice. Really, they are!

But you should be aware that large portions of broadcast television are not filmed or broadcast in the widescreen format.

So, while I personally find it amusing to see a bunch of short, fat people on TV, especially during basketball season, I recommend you change the setting to show the broadcast in the aspect ration in which it is filmed.

I know, those black bars between the picture and the frame don't show off the full quality of your new purchase, but trust me on this.

Oh, and rinse your glasses better. Nobody likes soap in their cocktail.
