What's the temp in your house right now? |
|
If you're home -- or even if you're not? It's 68 in my house, but it's fracking COLD.... I have some seriously OLD windows and all you have to do is put your hand near them to feel the cold. :eyes:

and 36 outside. My house has no insulation, the landlord won't put it in, so it's freezing and the heater is on most of the time.
I can't wait to get my gas bill. :scared:
It's warming up, yesterday it was 26 degrees at 7:00 AM.
We have an Arctic blast hitting SoCal, right now.

Thank goodness for a southern-facing house. Just need to get a bit more of that passive solar going. :D Meanwhile, I am wearing a coat and a hat.

It's okay, at least I've got power.

35. Are you serious? I live in the MOJAVE! |
|
There's ice on the streets in the mornings because of all the pipes that broke during the night, flooding the streets before freezing up again.
Admittedly, November and much of December were unseasonably warm (20-30 above normal), but 40 during the day and 27 at night is freaking COLD. It's been a family tradition to go swimming during the Superbowl halftime; some years a little chilly, but usually almost the last of the cold snaps.
At least there's no snow. I'm kind of afraid of the snow. I can be thankful for that, at least.

I caught a bit of a chill yesterday - I went out to lunch with a friend and we ended up parking farther than we expected, and oooh that wind; last night I couldn't warm up even with a few layers on and cranked the heat up.
I still feel a bit chilled today, so I'm keeping it high until I feel warm again. I don't pay for heat in my building, anyway.
Normally, it's in the 22/72 range.

We have a wood stove that heats our family room and kitchen but the rest of the house stays cool. It's okay though, just wear a sweatshirt or sweather and you are alright.

23. I don't know the actual temperature in my house, but I'm guessing somewhere between 30-40, |
|
since that's what it is outside (it's only marginally warmer inside, but at least I'm not getting rained on!).
I'm wearing sweats and 2 pairs of socks so I'm reasonably warm. Cold weather doesn't bother me that much anyways.

Warmed up to a whopping 8 degrees this afternoon.
You and your "68 but it's cold". Pfffft!
Oh, just saw that you mean INSIDE...
OK, inside it is about 50. But really not bad as long as you keep your warm clothes on.

27. The thermometer says 70 |
|
It is located on an interior wall though and is probably one of the warmer spots in the house. Around the windows are cold. Our bed room which is above the non heated garage as opposed to the lower story is cold. We are looking in to make some improvements to improve the air temperature and lower our heating bills which are high even without it being as cold as normal.
