So, as a "reward" for giving a sweet girl a place to stay after she left rehab so she can stay clean and focus on some legal problems she needs to deal with in order to get her life straight again - I find out today that her probation officer(S!!) want to come do a search of my home. NOT COOL. Not cool AT ALL. And they can show up whenever they want, and they don't need a warrant.

Plus she's looking at a $200/month minimum payment to the state --- and that's just the beginning.

I feel like we're both being punished - she's getting screwed for giving everything she's got to getting her life straightened out, and I'm being punished for trying to help her.

I fucking HATE the "justice" system. Fucking hate it.

4. I am fiercely private.

I don't have people to my house EVER. I don't want anyone going through my stuff - whether there's anything to hide or not. I don't want anything ransacked.

Plus I moved from a ginormous house to a freaking postage stamp of one and there is crap EVERYWHERE - it's a huge mess I'm already overwhelmed by with no room to move stuff around or sort anything and.... :cry:

I feel the same way that you do about my privacy. The fact that you're trying to help someone out is admirable. I'm sorry it's such a pain in the ass for you and your friend both, but goodonya for doing it.
