Orville Reddenbacher is back from the dead
Seriously. I just saw him in a new popcorn commercial and it is super-creepy. I don't know if they just used old footage of him and re-animated the mouth, got an actor who looks somewhat like him, did him CGI, or had him brought back from the dead...but it's just WRONG.

2. He has returned from the grave...they feed him
fresh brains to sustain his unlife.
He prefers his popcorn with blood rather than butter.

4. I once met Orville Redenbacher...
when I worked (30-odd years ago) for the public relations firm that represented his company. I also met Colonel Harlan Sanders at the same place.

I never worked on either account, but it was interesting. Both were quite the character.

5. from wikipedia
On January 15, 2007 during the Golden Globe Awards, an advertisement featuring a digital re-creation of Redenbacher appeared on TV for the first time. It was the first time a digital representation of a deceased individual appeared that could be made to say and do anything. Gary Redenbacher, responding to questions about how he felt about the advertisement stated that "Grandpa would go for it. He was a cutting-edge guy. This is a way to honor his legacy."<1>

6. what creeped me out were the hands...
they didn't look right. That and the mouth didn't always seem in sync with the words.

8. Aren't they animating Doc Brown?
I mean, I know Christopher Lloyd isn't dead.

But I'm pretty sure his character is CGI in that commercial.

11. That commercial disturbs me.
They reanimated his mouth and probably put his image in front of new backdrop. It just feels wrong.
