4. I love gray cats
I wish I could have one

And no, I won't get one as I don't have the time for kitties at the moment and my apt is rather small for two kitties.

6. I rescued the grey cat from the shelter.
She was in a cage with 6 other kitties. The 6 were at the front of the cage, mewing, pawing, saying "Look at ME! Take ME!" And in the back of the cage, was this little, tiny grey furball, all curled up, and she stole my heart.

It's been a love fest ever since.

23. They sure do.
When I brought Missy home, she was so scared. I think she was abandoned by her mother kitty, maybe through no fault of momma's. When I first brought her home, she hid underneath a bedside table I had for 2 days. I finally was able to convince her I wasn't going to hurt her, and she let me pet her.

Then, she finally came out of hiding, and promptly peed on the carpet. I picked her up, put her in the litter box, and told her this is where she needs to do her business.

She never messed on the carpet again.

And she loves it when I sleep downstairs. I lay on my side, and she lays on my hip. :loveya:

27. Octavia, my late cat used to do that also
no matter how I was laying, she had to lay on me. And then, when I was laying on my stomach she would walk up and down my back, doing that "milk" stomping. I was cute but it ruined the covers.

I miss her

72. I think I thought of what it was
We had just built a new house and moved into it. At the old place, she went out in the back yard on a leash that slid along a long clothes line. New place, nothing but dirt and weeds, no fences, sorry puss, you're stuck inside. It was a couple of years until I could put them out again, and that's when she was at her worst. She was pretty cranky then, too. Anyhow, the yard is there for them to roam to their hearts' content, I made it cat-proof so they can't get out. The neighborhood cats learned this the hard way, they could get in, but not back out. I was able to let them out the gate, except for one poor guy who Cleo got to first. She's strong and fast, very territorial, and honed her skills on her sisters. She had pretty well ripped him a new one by the time I could intervene; orange fur was everywhere. Cleo sure strutted around for a while after that.

44. The last one is "Tate's Toy and Tate's Butt"
The little green tail with the pink sisal ball is Tate's carry-around toy. It will be deposited, with a moist thud, on your head/keyboard/countertop, and accompanied with the "You must play with me NOW!" meow. If you disobey him, he takes it to the top of the stairs, launches the toy down the stairs, retrieves, repeats.

Sylvester decided he wanted to see what was outside the FR window, behind the sofa. The other kitties know to use the sofa as a stepping stool, but not Sylvester. He jumped up from the floor, just barely reached the window sill, hung on for dear life for about 15 seconds (I thought he was going to do chinups!), gave me a "NOW what do I do?" look, and finally dropped to the ground. He was very embarrassed! Now he's off somewhere, hiding his face in shame

My cute pic is of my puppy:

I DO have a cat, though. However, he'd DIE before he'd be called "cute". He's REGAL, doncha know? (Except when he goes to jump on the counter, misjudges and slides off, legs flailing trying to hold on and he hits the ground and tries to act like he did it on purpose and goes sauntering off. :) )
