Where did your most memorable first kiss happen? |
|
Mine was in the hallway by the bathrooms at Round Table Pizza... 20 years ago.
Man, I wish I could track her down...
*wistful sigh*

I had first kisses that meant nothing to me. What's your *best* first kiss? That's a better question!:loveya:

4. 'Best' was my first impulse |
|
But then I realized the best and the most memorable are probably one and the same. If not, the memory's likely to be better than the kiss.

There's much to be said for being swept off one's feet. Or doing the sweeping.

i was with my soon to be first full on guy lover.
i had had sex with lots of guys by then -- and kissed{yes, we had sex too} a few girls.
i had girl friends in high school -- but i han't yet had a full on byfriend.
he was from australia -- and he was SO beautiful -- he was often mistaken for a girl.
we were on our way to his house toward west 78th -- and he stopped and kissed me -- i mean kissed me.
i will never, ever be as surprised as i was then.
and all i could think was -- so THIS is what a kiss is like.

I was nervous. She was nervous. I said "I'm glad you're here", and kissed her as soon as she showed up just to get it out of the way.
Needless to say, it worked out pretty well.

8th grade. She and I had flirted with each other all week, but on our last night there she just spun around while we were walking down a trail and planted the first really passionate kiss on me that I ever experienced. She was beautiful, the location was perfect, and I thought I was really in love with that girl (hey, I was barely 14...every relationship was "the one"). I've had many great kisses since, including countless from my wife whom I love very much, but that kiss will always rank as one of the most memorable for me. For more reason than one, as well. The girl I kissed was a beautiful, vibrant, highly intelligent young woman, and we kept in touch through letters for several years afterwards, trading advice on everything from music to relationships. She eventually stopped responding to my letters and I assumed she'd lost interest (we hadn't seen each other in three years at that point). I finally wrote her a very kind goodbye letter, and received a reply...from her dad. I'll never forget that moment either. It turned out that her boyfriend had broken up with her, and in a fit of drunken depression she'd killed herself. She was only 17 years old.
Even though I hadn't seen her in three years, I cried for hours that day. I'll never forget her, and I'll never forget that kiss, that night, on that trail overlooking the ocean.
