Costco Chicken Noodle Soup. Nuthin' better on a cold day.
They sell it in 3.75 lb. plastic tubs and it's delicious.

Anyone else try it yet?

1. It is delicious. Did you ever try the potato soup?
They don't seem to have it this year, but it is out of this world. I bought it last year and I couldn't keep it in the house.

2. Oh crap. I missed it.
Never even saw the potato soup. How come you didn't tell me??!!

One thing on the chicken noodle... make sure you buy the freshest they have. The first tub I bought started tasting a little sour after a couple of days. This one, I bought yesterday, says "sell by 1/20" and it is much much better.

It'll be gone by tomorrow, I'm sure. Problem is, my local Costco doesn't seem to carry it.

3. They only had it for a little while last year and this year I can't
find it at all.

I have to tell you, it was spectacular. All you had to do was mix it with water and voila.

My kids loved it, which at least for BoyMidlo meant some semblance of a vegetable got into his system.

4. Was it a "Kirkland" brand product?
I remember trying some potato soup mix like that and it was good, but it was not made by Costco. This was a couple of years ago.

6. Bear Creek, I think it's called
I agree, it's delicious, especially if you throw in a can of clams and a little bacon. :9

(y'all made me curious -- I love good soups!)

On edit: PS -- they no longer sell online -- but there's a Store Locator!

11. Try some other stores, too. One drawback to "big box" stores like CostCo
Edited on Sat Jan-20-07 01:52 PM by mcscajun
is you cannot count on consistent product selection in some items from one visit to the next. They buy big lots of what is available to meet their price points.
