It looks like a restyled version of the old Passat. The doors look the same but the rest of the car looks updated.

21. It sure looks like a Volkswagen product, right down to the wheels.
Ford does need a big hit in the car field and this car does look much more elegant and expensive than their previous offerings. They did a similar thing in europe where the Mondeo midsize looks a lot like a Volkswagen. Czech out this Czech made Volkswagen.< http://www.skoda-superb.de/>

I said it looked like a VW passat, which is the same platform as an Aufi A4. The truth is that it is a Ford. It reminds me of how the original Taurus borrowed heavily from the looks of the Audi 5000
