How've you been?
Yeah, we got the ice storms and all that that entails. Hah... Texas drivers and ice just do NOT mix.
Kids are great! Taking turns getting sick lately, but other than that... excellent. And yours?

8. are you in West Texas or East? |

we had spring, up until last week. Now it's back to normal, sliding down the hill and all that good stuff.
Kid was sick once, briefly - they get the weirdest combos of lfu/cold these days. He's eating me out of house and home. And writing really good book reports! That's been really cool to see. I love when skills blossom.

Up near the metroplex.
That's great to hear about the book reports! I know just what you mean... my 7 year old is really starting to love reading and it makes me sooooo happy to see. :)

10. it's amazing how you can think that you have a kid figured out |
|
and then you realize that there is so much more, and that their own choices and desires for life are much different than you realized. That's a neat thing to see.
I can't imagine a world without books. I'm always so pleased when my son is reading, even if it's some game manual, comic book, classic or sports mag.
