Poll question: One person is searching for you! Find out who! (and pay money to do so) |
|
Gah! those ppl at Reunion.com keep mailing me this message. On the one hand, yes, I am curious, as there are old classmates I would like to hook up with. On the other hand, they WANT MONEY to make me see this information. I don't like Reunion.com and even though it's only $2 a month, still, my natural thriftiness makes me absolutely NOT want to pay for it as I go there maybe once a year. AND, I think it's dumb too. I am relatively easy to find (my name hasn't changed, and they can freaking google me) and I'm just like, "C'mon, people, find me and shoot me an EMAIL, it's free and not as lame as reunion.com.
Your thought?

I did and most of the people searching for "me" are people searching for someone with the same name as me. Only one was an old classmate...and a horror at that.

6. I got an email from some old classmate through Classmates.com |
|
Which I put my name on eons ago when it was still free. She wanted me to reply to the Classmates link but since I don't pay, I couldn't and she didn't leave her personal email. So I didn't.
Then I got a very snotty email from her saying, "If you're not the person I went to school with, you could at least have the courtesy to let me know!" still without an email contact.
I figured if she was that grumpy, I didn't want to be in contact anyway. Sheesh!

I had my old college roommate contact me through the PM function at classmates.com. I wrote back but never heard anything again.
But she married a Mormon and got hardcore. I figure she must have looked over my profile much mroe carefully, seen I was a flaming liberal, and been so horrified that she never wrote back.

8. I googled an old friend and found out that he went from ultra-Liberal to total |

Rushbot and became racist. Sometimes it is best to let the past stay there. If the person can't try a little harder to locate you, you might just be better off *not* getting into contact with him/her.
