How candid/open are you with people you meet, in person?
I try not to give people more information than they want, but I will pretty much tell anyone anything about me, if they ask. Among my friends, I'm usually the one that gets the "this might sound gross, but have you ever..." kind of phone calls. I know alot of people are MUCH more restrained with sharing things, or discussing matters of a personal nature. How about you?

2. I know. They'll stab you in the shoulder blades,
and beat you to grimy pulp, whilst pelting your face with badger droppings. (metaphorically speaking, of course.)

But if I do, then I am very reserved... strange isn't it?

I merely hand them a copy of my 1264-page autobiography. :P

13. Have you finished it yet? How do you meet your untimely end?
I vote for drowning, after a drunken fall into a vat of mead.

12. I'm pretty open
I don't really consider anything in my life much of a secret and there's nothing I'm particularly ashamed of. On the other hand, I don't immediately blurt out my entire life story. But if people ask questions of me, I tend to answer pretty openly.

Unless I'm in a pissy mood. :)

17. I try to be totally honest, but
not very open. That comes with time and trust. If questions are asked I answer them honestly or reply that it is personal and nobody's business.

and quiet when I met new people, but after I get to know you, and vice versa, I open up quite a bit. :D

20. It depends. Usually I'm very open, but if I get a bad, judgmental vibe I won't be
I tend to trust my instincts in those types of situations. It's important to keep it balanced, in my opinion. I also make a point of LISTENING to what they have to say, too. I don't appreciate people who simply spew forth personal info without reciprocating the interest in any way. It takes two to have a conversation.

"To be interestING you have to be interestED." I heard that somewhere once and I like it.

:hi:

21. I am very, VERY open.
And I tend to draw those things out of others as well --- I'm a "digger". I ask a lot of questions, often questions that could be considered "inappropriate". I can't help it though - I'm genuinely interested in other people.

22. I'm fairly open
or at least skilled in the creating the illusion that I am. Actually, I have trust issues. In order to determine if a person is trust worthy, I will share a little bit of my inner reality and see how they deal with it. What they don't realize is that I am watching very closely for a while.

23. I try to be, but it seems to always backfire, so I prefer
to plain flat out refuse to tell anything that might reveal the true me. As I am extremely different from those around me, I seem to always get weird reactions from people. I used to be very candid until I figured out that it wasn't worth it until I got to know more about the person to figure out if I could trust them or not to understand. So, now, I do not any more.
