So I took my 8 year old to Children's today to have his tonsils removed |
|
As we sat in the room while he got his temp, BP, height and weight measured, the nurse brought in his gown and scrubs. She told him to change, then she left.
We opened the scrub pants and gown, and laughed our asses off. My son put on the scrub pants and the crotch was below his knees. The legs needed to be rolled slightly, but I took one look and told him his new gangsta scrubs were too cool. The gown was below the knees.
He greeted the doc with "yo yo dog". Thankfully there was no calling the nurses "be-atches". He would have gotten his young ass kicked.

Poor guy is passed out on the couch, dreaming of the freezer full of popsicles.

:7 BTW, I've discovered that eye makeup remover does a wonderful job on removing Popcicle mustaches. You know, just in case.

I'll put that one on the list. So far we just mash up the popsicles in a cup and make them into slushies. Much less chance of a chuck of popsicle going down the throat.
