Mad ESP strikes again!

Over the years, there have been a surprising number of occasions in which an idea or product that Mad Magazine offered facetiously later became reality. Here's the latest example:

Back around 1976, Mad did an article titled "Where Are They Now," which was supposed to have been written in 1990. One of the celebrities they lampooned was Cher, whose post-Greg Allman marriages included one to Warren Beatty, which resulted in divorce after only nine hours.

Funny at the time, but with the Britney SPears marriage debacle now all over the so-called "news," it looks like the "Usual Gang of Idiots" continues to have a much better psychic record than Jeanne Dixon!
