I did not previously think it was possible, but the solo piano version of "Doctor Wu" playing now is just really, really kick-ass. Not better than the original, of course, but just a surprisingly tender rendition, with that requisite ache. Nobody plays "Doctor Wu" ever, it seems, so this is goodness.

She's a forty-something woman who, as I mentioned in another thread, thought until recently that Peter Gabriel's song Sledge Hammer was in fact called Head Jammer. How a person of her age could have escaped the 80's without even accidentally seeing the correct name on her tv screen is beyond me.

Regardless, she also thought that Deacon Blues contained this line:

I turned to work/the sex is gone.


It must be quite an experience, hearing all those songs inside her head.
