Poll question: Is my daughter a Maoist revolutionary?
Edited on Wed Jan-31-07 09:06 AM by underpants
She is only 18 months old (Monday :-) ) and she has a vocabulary of 57 words as we counted it yesterday but she continues to try to recruit the others living in our house at least I think that is what she is doing. She walks up to each of the two cats and says "MAO!" pointing at each. She also says "NO" to both my wife and I-clearly a revolutionary rejection of authority.

And as if that wasn't bad enough this morning I asked her "What is 5?" and she shot me one of these
:hi: <-- imagine that the arm wasn't moving and it was all Nazi like n stuff.

Should I be worried?

1. That's hilarious
But yes you should be worried, particularly now that you've announced it here I'm sure the DHS will be watching your daughter closely now. Searching her diaper bag for WMD's and such. ;)

3. It is clear to me
that she wishes to take Marx's dialetic and adapt the revolutionary socialist system to the peasantry in rural China and other agrarian societies.

She may see parental authority as too "Bourgeois" and could overthrow you in the name of the revolutionary working and rural classes.

4. She tends to always pick out the red books to read
Do you think that might be a problem?
