1. I don't even have all the paperwork to do my tax returns yet!
My husband's W2s and all of our banking, investment, and mortgage information is here. I'll pick up my W2s with my paycheck tomorrow, but we're still waiting on a year-end tuition statement and a 1099.

I don't even know if we'll get a refund. I don't mind breaking even, but I do not want to have to pay in.

He's getting a decent check back. I still haven't received my W-2 which surprises me but it should come today.

4. TAXES
I am glad you are getting money back!!

I am so pissed off at the tax system more then ever, and if I hear one more Republican
nifnod talking on how the Dems are trying to raise our taxes, I will scream.
I am paying more taxes now and making less
Under Clinton, I was making more and paying less taxes............finger that one out.

6. What took you so long?
I got my refund back already! I use "Taxact" on line and used my final paycheck of the year to do the return.
I am glad to hear you will have NO CREDIT CARD DEBT! I salute you LynneSin!

9. I'll get around to it soon.
I finally received all my 1099's.

I then went to irs.gov and found that this year there are no free file possibilities that do not have AGI limitations, even though there had been for 2004 and 2005.

So I requested IRS to send me paper forms.

I refuse to pay to e-file. I'm not in that much of a hurry for any refund.

(If anyone does know of a free e-file with no limitations, let me know.)

10. My e-file went up $10 but I'd still rather do it that way
Only because I'm notoriously bad for not having a stamp or envelope handy and end up sending stuff in late. Probably why I had such a shitty credit rating before the invention of online banking
