TBS shows "Overboard" three times a day, every day
Usually in a block with "Turner & Hooch" and "Father of the Bride Part Deux."

Honestly, doesn't it seem likely that everyone in the world who might want to see these films already say them ten, fifteen, or twenty years ago? There must be plenty of recent, non-sucking films worth airing, but TBS falls back onto its stable of cheap-to-broadcast crap.

Yes, I have basic cable.

6. I don't care if he single-handedly resurrected the Liberal wing of the party...
Turner and Hooch is still a horrible film. Throw it on the shit-heap with all the other 80's-era maverick-cop-paired-with-unlikely-dog movies, and there were plenty!

2. oh god I love that movie
Sorry, it's incredibly silly and inane, but I think it's hilarious.

And that hottie Kurt Russell is shirtless in about half the film. Hubba Hubba!

5. See, even that argument doesn't justify the constant airings
I mean, I love my cigar, but I take it out of my mouth once in a while.

I like Kurt Russell just fine--so let's show Big Trouble in Little China for a change. Or The Thing. He has a body of work extending beyond Overboard, after all!

8. Back to the Future is a respite from endless Martin Lawrence movies
And anyway, they usually show Back to the Future Part Two, alas...

7. Sure, so let's see that one once in a while, instead
Why play the same lame film again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again?

10. Thanks to TBS, you can catch that favorite line 21+ times each week
Often, it's sandwiched in between airings of My Boys.
