Did anyone else see the meteor last night?
My husband and I saw a bright flash in the southern sky about 8:00pm last night. I asked him if that was lightening, about a minute later there was a loud boom like thunder. We switched the TV to the weather channel to see the radar because it is very unusual to have a thunder storm in Illinois in February when the temp is -4F. The radar showed no storms in the area.

Then the news this morning:

Anyone else see this?

3. Martians!
Okay listen carefully. Go to the crash site and wait for the end of the meteor to unscrew itself. As the Martians come out, make sure you cough all over them.

5. I loved the comments about the Bears going down in flames.
I wasn't far from there. (about 40 miles east of Rockford Il) Of course I was caught up in the superbowl and missed it.
