7. Puh-leeze...
Harding was not personally corrupt-- he was merely incompetent to deal with the thievery surrounding him. Much as Reagan was not personally corrupt, but had one of the most corrupt administrations in history.

You are, of course, absolutely correct that for the first time we have an admninistration that is both totally inept and fundamentally corrupt.

There is not one positive thing that can be said about this administration, and that just could be for the first time in our history.

19. You're right...Harding's administration was corrupt.
He, himself, was just a do-nothing.

3. W is pulling the same thing that Polk did (Mex-Amer. War)
Totally fabricated excuses for a war that really was land acquisition.

I think W is the worst (it takes a lot to beat Nixon too) but I just wanted to throw that in there.

5. How could it be anyone but? Shrubbie all the way.
Edited on Tue Jul-08-03 11:28 AM by Aristus
W.H. Harrison was only in office for one month. His worst act as President was not wearing an overcoat, hat and muffler in a driving snowstorm to deliver his inaugural address. Small wonder he died of pneumonia thirty days later.

6. This one's a proverbial no-brainer
Shrubbie, by far! He thinks he's not only above U.S. law, but also he thinks the Constitution is an obstacle he has to push aside, and worst of all, he is thoroughly convinced he's above international law--and the laws of God. As a matter of fact, he thinks he is God--and that makes him the most dangerous excuse for a man in the world!!!!!
:scared:

8. nice freeper proof poll
it wouldn't let me vote twice. the big networks obviously want their polls to be freeped, otherwise they could include the same logic.

You could have tested that
by giving Clinton a slot. That would probably have driven the freepers totally nuts, having such a big fat target for them to shoot at anonymously and not being able to do anything about it.

11. Not very unfreepable ...
I assume that by registering with another name would allow you to vote more than once. Not much out there to stop that.

Cheers

13. Rather Inpractical
Since it takes time to establish a new user name, the poll could slip into archives before you got a chance to vote again.

the home of Warren Harding, Marion, Ohio, I've heard and read alot about Harding. I think he was less evil then the squatter in the White House now.

I'm not sure * is worse than McKinley; they're both pretty bad. I mean, these are guys who could read Upton Sinclair's _The Jungle_ and only get grossed out by the Socialism bits at the end.

18. Not Much
Garfield was shot a few months after taking office, and didn't have a chance to do much.

Franklin Pierce was traveling to Washington with his wife and son to take office when their train was in an accident. He saw his son being killed in the accident, and the trauma left him unable to do much to stop the country's march toward civil war.

23. Reagan, because Bush* is only the pResident
who's squatting in Al Gore's house!

Besides, when Raygun took office, we were the largest creditor nation in the world. After eight years of Raygun's nonstop Cold Warfare, we are the largest debtor nation. I shudder to think what might happen if the oil-producing nations shift to the euro as the reserve currency.
