No. Google is resolutely unbuyable in that regard.

Google ranks search results based on how many references to a page other pages make to it. The theory being that interesting and authoratative pages will be cited and linked to more often and consequently will appear higher up the results listing. The "miserable failure" example came about because of a deliberate attempt to create many, many pages that referenced the White House's Bush biography with a link or a context that made mention of the phrase, "miserable failure". With the plethora of freely available blogging sites and sites that allow users to leave comments, this is much easier than it sounds... and no, I don't know if Google indexes DU, in case you were getting any ideas :-)

3. doesnt google have a search algorythym that...

when a certian number of people link to someplace with a certian prase... that phrase becomes the label for when somone tyeps it in the google search bar, so the page that comes up when you type 'miserable failure' a majority of links labeled 'miserable failure' must point to that site(the bush bio)
