I saw a really fun punk band last night.
And I danced until (almost) bar close. It was so much fun. My husband enjoyed sitting at the table and looking crabby all night. :eyes: Fortunately, I've become adept at ignoring such behavior. If you don't have plans for V-Day and you're looking for something fun to do, I highly suggest going dancing with some friends. It's such a great stress release. I really should do it more often.

2. They're a MN band called "n od".
They do punked-up covers of songs. It's a nice change from the exclusivity of the r&b and rap that most places around here play. My friend is buddies with the band, so she got me to go last time they played, and we had fun jumping around and being crazy. I'll dance to anything, but I love to hear stuff that's actually within a genre that I actually dig.

4. If you're a fan of punk covers, I hope hope hope you know Me First and the Gimme Gimmes.
I know what you mean. As much as I love hip-hop, the crappy party rap and R&B you hear at clubs is horrible. I stopped letting my roommates drag me along to that shit after a while, haha. I just go to shows and such now.

Sort of a punk rock supergroup. Members of NOFX, Lagwagon, $wingin' Utter$, Foo Fighters, etc.

7. No- I wonder if they ever play around here, though?
My social life has been suffering lately, so I've been rather out-of-sync with the local happenings. I just haven't had any time to get out and do *stuff*.

9. They are based in Minneapolis
more of a power-pop band than punk, but lots of fun...

8. Nothing, if you can wear it with a proper air of disdainful ambivalence.
But that's a challenge.
